Hey There,
Happy Thursday! I hope you’re having a great week. As always, feel free to check out my video and/or keep on scrolling for the latest updates.
Ok, so there’s a ton going on this week! I submitted my pitch for Mayfly to a publisher, so fingers crossed for that! I’ve been working with the super-talented editor Brittany Matter to work out the details of the outline in a ton of detail and so at this point, even though I haven’t written a word of the script, these characters already feel real to me.
I also finished up the lettering for the short I’ve been working on and I’ll be submitting it to an anthology soon. Once I’ve submitted it, I’ll share some of the art for it, so keep an eye out for that!
And I’ve been doing a lot of the prep work to get ready for the campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever #2, which launches on October 19. If you haven’t followed it to be notified on launch, you can do that here. The more followers a campaign has before launch, the better it’s likely to do. So following is a big help!
As far as comics I’m reading, I finished up The Department of Truth (by James Tynion IV and Martin Simmonds) over the weekend and it’s definitely one of my favorite comics. There’s almost an understated quality to it that’s perfect for telling a story about secrets and shady people working in the shadows. Tynion is just an incredible storyteller. I’ve read the series will be coming back and I can’t wait!
Well, that’s it for now. Again, it would be amazing if you could follow the campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever #2. I so appreciate the support!

Have a great day!
Best,
