No Spell Update + Mad Cave Excitement!

Whew, this has been a pretty busy week! A lot of my focus has been on getting out the backer surveys for No Spell Lasts Forever #3. I finally got them all sent out yesterday so if you backed the campaign, be sure to check your inbox!
Also, the new stickers for Issue #3 arrived and they look so good! I’m still waiting on the cards but they’re on the way, too.
In addition to No Spell stuff, I’ve been working on the outline for my Mad Cave project. I’m so excited about it! But it’s the first time I’ve written anything for licensed characters and it’s making me a little nervous! Mostly because I feel a responsibility to write something that honors the history of those characters. But honestly, I just feel a different kind of nervousness when I’m writing my own characters, so I guess it’s six of one, half dozen the other.
As far as comics I’ve been reading, I just checked out My Favorite Thing is Monsters Book Two by Emil Ferris from the library. I loved the first book. The art is gorgeous and haunting, and the story really stuck with me. It’s just such a unique book and I can’t wait to read the sequel!
