Hey There!
Happy Thursday! I hope you’re having a great week! As always feel free to watch my video and/or keep on reading for all the latest.
As the year winds down, I’m looking into 2025 and my upcoming projects for next year. The first one to come out will be No Spell Lasts Forever #4, which will launch on Kickstarter in the spring. Eze’s inks for it look amazing! And I’m excited because of where the story goes in this issue. A lot of things are really escalating for Rosette, and she has to make some difficult decisions.
The talented creator Matta Sorcier did a beautiful variant for it in the style of her awesome series, The Misadventures of Buddy and Friend. I really love it, and I can’t wait to see it printed! I wanted to go ahead and share a little preview of the cover here. And I’ll be sharing all of the full covers as we get closer to the campaign.
I mean, how amazing does Lucifer look!? I’m so excited to share the full cover with you all.
I also wanted to share a lovely interview I did with The Comic Book Yeti about Faster Than Light. Their questions were very thoughtful, and I really enjoyed answering them.
Otherwise, this week has mostly been about getting organized and setting priorities for next year. I’ve got a lot of irons in the fire and I’m excited about all of them, which is a good problem to have! But it means I need to be systematic in the approach I take to making them all happen. So I’ve been creating calendars and timetables for myself this week to hopefully avoid having a totally bananas 2025.
As far as stuff I’m reading, it’s not a comic but I’m about 100 pages into A Sleight of Shadows by Kat Howard. It’s the sequel to An Unkindness of Magicians, which I really loved. If you’re a fan of somewhat dark, spooky magic stories, this book is right up your alley! I definitely recommend it.
Well, that’s it from me for now! As always, you can find me on social @sarahccomics, and I hope to connect with you there!
Best,
Sarah
