No Spell #4 + New Project!

I’m so excited for this issue, and I can’t believe we’re already up to #4! Here’s another little snippet from the book to tide you over until it comes out. A lot happens in Rosette and Bash’s relationship in this issue, but a lot happens between Rosette and Jimmy, too.
This week for me has mostly been about editing the outline for an upcoming project I’ll be working on with Dom Monette, whose work you had the chance to enjoy if you read my sci-fi anthology Faster Than Light. It’s going to be a really cool project — different from a lot of my previous projects aesthetically but similar thematically. It has to do with ghosts, zombies, and an undead woman and her girlfriend trying to save their town and themselves from a dudebro named Chad. I can’t wait to tell you more about it!
As far as stuff I’m reading, I just finished Super Mutant Magic Academy by Jillian Tamaki and I loved it! It’s a compilation of her original web series. It’s funny, deep at moments, a little dark at times. If you haven’t read it, definitely check it out!
