Hey There!
Happy Thursday! Unfortunately, there’s loud construction going on outside my office, so there’s no video this week.
So this week has felt oddly quiet — which I think is actually not that abnormal for this time of year, when many of us tend to get a little busier with holiday-related stuff and creative projects may slow down a little for a bit.
On top of that, my schedule at the library has been a little unusual this week. And the very loud construction I mentioned! There’s a gas pipeline being replaced right outside my office window, which means I’ve been working in the bedroom. So with things being quieter than usual, my library schedule being a little weird, and being forced to work in a different space, this week has just felt a little off-kilter.
But I have still managed to get some work done! I’ve mostly been catching up on administrative stuff this week. But I’m also in the process of editing the script for the next issue of Mayfly, and the script for my Papercutz project.
Plus, I finally started a Bluesky account! You can find me at @sarahccomics.bsky.social.
As far as stuff I’m reading, I’m about four issues into The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos and I love it! It’s creepy and weird in all the best ways, and it really captures the experience of trying to not only be ok with who you are but actually celebrate it. Highly recommend!
Well, that’s it from me for now! As always, you can find me on social @sarahccomics, and I hope to connect with you there!
Best,
Sarah
