Hey There!
Happy Thursday! I hope you’re having a great week! As always feel free to watch my video and/or keep on reading for all the latest.
The big news today is that it’s the LAST DAY for my sci-fi anthology Faster Than Light on Kickstarter! If you’ve been thinking about pledging, you’ve got until 11:59 Eastern TONIGHT!
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has pledged. I'm so proud of this project. It's a 54-page anthology that features the work of 20 talented creators. The theme is family, and how families of origin and found families stay connected in a fast-paced, futuristic world.
We've got three gorgeous covers, Kickstarter-exclusive vinyl decals, buttons, exciting digital rewards, and more!
We’ve also unlocked all of our backer bonuses and stretch goals, which means all backers will receive a gorgeous digital poster by Allen Forbes in his excellent 3D style, a copy of my script for the story I wrote for the anthology, and a digital version of all six pages of Kieran Quinn’s inks for that story.
And we’ve surpassed our funding goal, which means that the more we raise, the more we’ll have to distribute among our contributing creators.
I recently chatted about the book on The Awesome Comics Podcast, and with contributors Brittany Matter and Jen Vaughn, and Patrick Hayes. Check out those conversations to learn more about what you’ll find in the book.
Seeing the enthusiasm for this book means so much to me. What feels special about editing an anthology is that I have the chance to share not only my own work, but the amazing work of other talented creators. And I’d love for you to read it! Again, if you want to get your hands on the book, be sure to pledge today.
Well, that’s all the project news for this week! As far as stuff I’m reading, I’m planning to dive into a couple of the indie comics I backed on Kickstarter tonight and over the weekend. I’m sure I’ll really enjoy them, and I’ll definitely be sharing my thoughts!
That’s it from me for now! As always, you can find me on social I hope to connect with you there! And again, I’d so appreciate it if you’d consider following Faster Than Light!
Best,
Sarah
