Hey Everyone!
I hope you’re all having a great week. As always, feel free to check out my video and/or keep reading for all the latest!
Working in comings, things seem to ebb and flow. There are times when you’re super busy and times when you’ve got things in the works and you’re just waiting for the next steps to start. This week was the latter for me. I’m waiting to hear back about pitches for Scorned April and Mayfly, waiting for the campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever #2 to launch on October 19…basically lots of waiting!
But one exciting thing is, Eze has moved on to the colors for the remaining pages of No Spell #2. He showed me a couple pages of flats yesterday and they look awesome! He’s got three different environments to color — Hell, Vermont, and NYC — and he’s really nailing all three. They each have a unique feel while staying true to the overall noir mood of the comic. I’m so excited to share the complete issue. And BTW, if you haven’t followed the campaign for it, you can do that here. The more followers it has, the better it’s likely to do. So following now really makes a difference.
As far as comics I’m reading, I just checked out Once Upon a Time at the End of the World from the library and I can’t wait to read it! With Jason Aaron writing, I have high hopes. I’m planning to get started on it tonight and I’ll let you know my thoughts as I go!
Well, that’s it for now. Again, it would be amazing if you could follow the campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever #2. I so appreciate the support!
