Final hours for No Spell #3!

I hope you’re having a good week! Wow, I can’t believe No Spell Lasts Forever #3 ends on Kickstarter TONIGHT! This month has just flown by. And I’m so grateful to see all the support for the comic. I’ve never had this many backers before! The campaigns for issues #1 and #2 both had around 140 backers, and this one has over 200! It’s genuinely so lovely to see how this community has grown. I’ve been told since I started making comics that doing more campaigns and putting more books out there is one of the best ways to find more readers, and it’s wonderful to see that happening in an even bigger way this time around.

In addition to Kickstarter stuff, I’ve mostly been working on pitch documents this week. I outlined series last year that I haven’t moved forward with because there was always so much else going on, but I might have the opportunity to pitch it now so I’ve been trying to get everything in order for that.
And as far as comics I’m reading, I just read The Deviant #6, by James Tynion IV and Joshua Hixson, and I continue to love this series. It’s touching to see how Derek stands up for Michael and believes in him, but heartbreaking that he’s really the only one who does. If you haven’t checked out this series yet, I recommend it!
