Faster Than Light + Zelda Awards

ICYMI, the pre-launch page for Faster Than Light Vol. 2 is live! If you have a minute to follow it, that would be super helpful. Campaigns that have more followers on launch are likely to do better overall.
I can’t wait for you all to read these stories! The writing and art are excellent, and I think they complement the stories in Vol. 1 really well. We also have all kinds of exciting rewards, like stickers, buttons, digital art, and more!
In other news, I was invited by the very talented creator Karla Medrano a.k.a. Moon the Storyteller to join the committee for the Zelda Awards, recognizing excellence among women in comics. Named after Zelda Jackie Ormes, the first Black woman cartoonist in the United States, the Awards will recognize all women (not just cis women!). The goal is to honor creators who redefine the boundaries of storytelling, representation, and artistic expression in the comic arts. And I’m so thrilled to be a part of it! That’s pretty much it as far as project news this week! I’m still reading Onyx Storm, so not much new to report on that front, except that I’m still enjoying it and I’m going to be sad when I finish it because it’s the last in the series!
