Happy Friday! I hope you’re all having a great week! If you haven’t followed the pre-launch page for Faster Than Light Vol. 2, now is the time to do it! The campaign launches on this coming TUESDAY, JULY 15, and you don’t want to miss it!
There are going to be EARLY BIRD DEALS, so if you’re thinking of backing the book when it goes live, it’s best to do it as soon as possible.
To speak from my heart, the creators who contributed their work to this book are so talented, and it means a lot that they’ve trusted me to bring their stories to the page.
We’ve got awesome physical rewards, like enamel pins, stickers, and vinyl decals. And some digital rewards that I’m excited to share, including a never-before-seen horror comic that I wrote with Dom and Lydia Monette called The Last Bus! Here’s a little preview of it:
That’s pretty much it for me in project news this week! I’ve mostly been busy gearing up for the campaign launch. Kickstarter is a lot of work! But it’s fun, too.
As far as stuff I’m reading, I just started Nona the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir. It’s the third book in the Locked Tomb series. I really loved the first two and I’m enjoying Nona so far, too! I mean, queer necromancers in space — what’s not to love?
