Exciting Sci-Fi Anthology Coming Soon!

Hey Everyone,

I hope your week is off to a great start! And to those of you making the trek to SDCC, I hope you have an amazing time!

So I’ve talked here about my forthcoming Sci-Fi anthology, Faster Than Light, and I wanted to let you know its pre-launch page is live! The campaign will be launching in September and I would so appreciate it if you could follow the page. The more followers the page has on launch, the more the Kickstarter algorithm prioritizes it, so following it is super helpful!

I’m editing the anthology with Lesser Known Comics and I’m so excited about this project! The anthology is about family — both families of origin and found families — and how they stay together in a fast-paced futuristic world (or struggle to do so). The submissions that have come in are amazing and I can’t wait to share them with you! The writing and art styles are so varied, and I have really loved seeing the different takes on family-centric stories. Some of the families are partners, friend groups, and even one pair of ancient alien beings.

And it includes a story set in the world of the forthcoming sci-fi series I’m doing with Kieran Quinn, Mayfly. So if you’d like a sneak peek of my next project, check it out! Here are Kieran’s sketches of the main character, Lettie.

And speaking of the stories, submissions are actually still open for one more week, through July 31! So if you’ve got a story you’d like to send my way, I’d love to read it!

And also, check out the gorgeous cover! It’s by Dom Monette and Lydia Monette. How beautiful is this art!? There will be a couple variants, too, which I’ll share soon.
