Creative priorities next year

Happy Thursday! I hope you’re having a great week! This time of year always seems to get so busy and, not surprisingly, I’m running a little short on time this week, so there’s no video. But I’ll be back on your screens soon!
As far as projects this week, I’ve mostly been looking ahead to next year and continuing to try to set priorities. I think as creators, it’s so easy to want to do ALL THE PROJECTS! There are so many amazing artists I want to work with, and stories in my head I want to bring out into the world. The hard part is deciding which ones are most important to you, and then figuring out how to make them a reality without burning out. So that’s what I’ve been trying to work out over the last week or so.
And I’ve been continuing with the writing of Mayfly. I really love this series. I don’t know exactly what the future holds for it yet, but I’ve really enjoyed writing it.
I’ve also been trying to get ready for the holiday. I’m driving from Ohio to New Jersey, so wish me luck! And I recently bought a snazzy, new X-Men holiday shirt that I’m pretty excited to wear during my trip. I’ll be sure to share pics.
As far as stuff I’m reading, I picked up volume 1 of Undiscovered Country, by Scott Snyder, Charles Soule, and Giuseppe Camuncoli at GalaxyCon recently and I’m excited to read it!
